About

Everyone is on a health journey.

Everyone is making decisions about who they’re going to be and what their life will be like in the future. I’ve made it my mission to help people experience health in profound new ways that bring freedom and joy.

If you’re struggling to know what the right next step is for your health journey, you’re in the right place. We are here to encourage one another on this Plexus journey. As a part of this community, you can find encouragement, training, and even friends who will cheer you on in our journey.

My Story

My name is Jody McComas and I’m a mother of two, husband of Matt McComas, and follower of Jesus. I started Plexus because I’ve had serious health issues for 20 years that had escalated in the past 10 years. As a former missionary, I was pushed to the limit of what my emotional well-being could handle because of my physical health and knew something had to change.

Today I have never felt better! You can read more of my story here, but suffice it to say Plexus has given me my health back! I had no idea that I would also gain a business with hundreds of people experiencing drastic life change. When my health was transformed I had to pass it on to others and that too has been life changing for our family.

You can find me on Instagram and at our family blog at theartofthriving.net

You can’t find transformation if you’re not wi You can’t find transformation if you’re not willing to try something new. It’s a fact, you can’t change without changing something.
That was my stack of medical bills that were a constant year after year for most of my adult life. So what changed? I skeptically tried some gut health products that absolutely changed everything for me. I went from chronic sickness, exhaustion, feeling miserable and hopeless that life would ever be different to being the healthiest I had been my whole life. I added in simple products that got to root issues. That’s it.
All my friends in those photos did the same thing.
We all came to Plexus with different struggles. Everything from autoimmune issues, mood issues, feeling anxious all the time, not able to go upstairs without being winded or achey, couldn’t sleep through the night, addicted to sugar, different diagnosed things and medications that weren’t working. The bottom line, we were all struggling with something but Plexus helped us to find the change we needed to truly go from surviving to thriving in our health AND for some of us, in our finances too.
We came in needing help and we’ve all found it in so many more ways than we ever dreamed of.
If you are struggling with something in your health or just think it’s “normal” why not give my products a try. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. We’re proof of that.

I have found this to be true in life. Either I run I have found this to be true in life. Either I run my day or my day runs over me. I don’t just want to be a victim to the urgent, I want to live by my values and priorities. That takes a ton of intentionality, some planning and also making room for margins. If I don’t have margins in my days then when unexpected things do come up I won’t have space to take care of them without totally losing my mind. Creating a life with space to breathe and rest is also a really high priority for us.
Often on Sunday evenings we talk as a family about what’s coming up so that we are all on the same page. This is also helpful for kids that have a harder time with executive functioning. They don’t always think ahead or make a plan so teaching these skills now is helpful. If you have a kid (or are a parent) who struggles with executive functioning, do you have tips to share?
Life is full and messy so every little bit we can do to make it less chaotic and more purposeful and peaceful, the better.

The dark days of winter and the weariness of the w The dark days of winter and the weariness of the world invite me into the Advent season as I am. I feel the pull to sit in the quiet, light a candle and not rush the grief. It is a season of waiting. It’s also a season of looking for the hope, love, joy and peace that can be found each day in the smallest of ways.
I hope this Adventure season Jesus meets you in a real way right where you’re at. ❤️

One of my favorite phrases that I latched onto tha One of my favorite phrases that I latched onto thanks to the Pantsuit Politics ladies is “May you have the best day (or holiday) available to you.”
Not every day or holiday offers up the same things. Some years are full of joy and laughter and some are full of angst and tears. I truly think, most of the time, it’s a mix of both if we’re honest. Life is full of both/and.
Whatever this holiday brings, I hope that you are gentle with yourself and those around you.
I hope you can find joy and glimmers of hope in the small things, rest, and reflection. And if the day allows, sweet memories with those you are with.

I had never had a slice of chocolate pecan pie unt I had never had a slice of chocolate pecan pie until about 8 years ago and once I did, there was no going back. It’s a family favorite and a holiday tradition for us now.
This is our favorite recipe for it if you’d like to try it for yourself. It’s divine.
Do you have a family favorite pie?

“Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, “Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it.” – Maya Angelou
At the end of the day, you have to like you and what you do. You get to define what success looks like.
Creating a life of peace, purpose and thriving (Which equals success to me and it doesn’t have to do with $$.) looks different for everyone. I can say that I’ve worked really hard to pursue those things so that at the end of my day and my life I can look back and be proud. I also hope that I’m paving the way for my kids to pursue those things as well.
How would you define success for you?
